Indigenous Arts Outreach and Awareness Program
Connecting Indigenous Performing Arts to the Community
We provide free educational and development resources intended to provide Indigenous culture bearers with community engagement opportunities that increase Indigenous representation and public awareness around Indigenous issues. IPP has designed and presented in excess of 300 offerings over the last six years, including educational workshops to high schools of Washington State Tribes, higher educational institutions, funding organizations, state and regional arts organizations, and arts service organizations in connection to our Tour Managment and Booking Agency and Indigenous Story Incubator Program.
In addition, we have curated hundreds of equity lectures and gatherings specifically for the performing arts industry and arts service organizaitons designed to bring awareness surrounding issues facing Indigenous artists in the performing arts sector with the intention of engendering equity in the industry at large.
